Today we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s birthday.
He was revolutionary.
: relating to, involving, or supporting a political revolution
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and message of nonviolent civil disobedience and genuine equality caused a great change. No question.
He had a dream and a mission that was so clear, so meaningful and so in alignment with who he was, that there was NOTHING on this Earth that could keep him from sharing it. Nothing.
Today as I honor and reflect on Dr. King’s legacy I am inspired.
I believe that each of us has a message that is revolutionary. I mean it. Each and every human being on this planet has a message inside of them that could cause a great or complete change in their world and beyond.
There is a restlessness that happens to people. I hear it all the time. Something is missing or lacking. You have checked off most of the boxes you were “supposed” to:
√ Education √ Job √ $Money$ √ House √ Spouse √ Dog √ Children √ Vacation √ Car……
What is the f**king problem? I should be grateful and happy but I’m not.
Here is the truth. There is not enough money, time or good looking people to fill that hole of dissatisfaction, boredom and emptiness. Is can only be filled from the inside out. Discovering your message is the best way I know how to do that.
Now, let’s be real for a minute. This isn’t some woo woo spiritual enlightenment that I am talking about (although you know I am down for that 😉 )
It can be simple. Start asking yourself higher level questions.
What is one thing am passionate about and why?
What is my legacy going to be and why?
What change would I like to see in the world and why?
What makes me CRAZY and what am I willing to do about it?
I don’t want to scare you, but once you figure out what IT is, you will spend the rest of your life bringing it into the world in one way or anther.
The good news….no…..The GREAT news is that this is where your juicy life begins. Everything you have done up until now has prepared you to take this next step.
Are you ready?
Authenticity, Vulnerability, Empowerment
One Daily Shift at a time.
I practice it.
I coach it.
All my love and gratitude,
